A trailer ramming into a bus on SR Highway in Rajasthan resulted in the death of 11 people and injuries to 12 others.

On Wednesday, a trailer hit and killed 11 individuals in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur district. The crash occurred on the Jaipur-Agra Highway near Hantra in Bharudpur District, which was traveling from Gujarat to Mathura in Uttar Pradesh at the time of the accident.

The trailer rear-ended the bus that had just halted at Antra flyover in the Lakhanpur area, killing five men and six women on the spot, according to police reports. The toll rose as Bharatpur SP Mridul Kachawa confirmed that 11 people died in an accident.

Antu, Nandram, Lallu and Bharat were killed in the accident. Madhuben, Ambaben & Amuben also died there. Police control room said they were from Dihor in Gujarat’s Bhav Nagar when the car was hit.

Ashok Gehlot, the chief minister of Rajasthan, expressed his condolences for the victims of the crash. He tweeted that the police and administration were present at the site to provide emotional support after the tragedy.

Gujarat Pilgrims’ families are mourning the tragic accident on a road near Bharatpur in Rajasthan and God is praying for quickest healing of those injured,’ Gujarat chief minister Bhupendra Patel tweeted.
