According to AR Rahman, Kamal Haasan should have opted for Hollywood instead of the wealthy one.

In a recent interview with The Hindu, AR Rahman revealed that he had visited the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles as part of an initiative to promote film-making. He also shared his impression of Oppenheimer during their small get-together.

In an interview with The Hindu, AR Rahman expressed his belief that the actor was trapped in the film industry. While this may be beneficial for him, he doesn’t know how relocating there helped him achieve success.

During the same interview, Rahman shared that he had watched Oppenheimer with Kamal Hasan during their visit to the Chinese Theatre. He invited the individual to have lunch and was impressed by their ability to communicate effectively with each other.

Kamal had shared a glimpse of their visit on Instagram, where he wrote, “Boys in the wood!! Found. Young man who is older than me… @arrahman” A light moment was also captured as both of them reflecting on the music director’s Oscar-winning moment: “One G.O.A.T watching another G!P.P.” Rahman said in his post, while Kamals were seen watching The Godfather.

Kamal’s next film, Indian 2, is a sequel to the Tamil cult classic Indian and will feature him in the movie Kalki 2898 AD, which also stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Disha Patani.
