At the residence of industrialist Atul Chordia in Pune, Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawal held a closed-door meeting. This led to speculation that PaWar might make an announcement regarding NCP’s separation. Pa Warran has denied any affiliation with the BJP and has stated that some well-wishers are urging him; however, he did mention that if there were such people, his name and the names of Patil and others would be revealed by both parties.
Sharad Pawar stated that the NCP’s national president should not align with the BJP and does not support any political party that is affiliated with Bharatiya Janata Party.
Sharad Pawar stated that some of our supporters are attempting to change their position and are therefore willing to engage in a friendly dialogue with us.
What transpired during the private meeting between Sharad Pawar and Ajit Paw?
Both Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawal have not disclosed their involvement in the closed-door meeting. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut played down the possibility of Pahir inviting Amid Begum to attend the opposition INDIA bloc’s meeting in Mumbai. Rau said that if Narendra Modi and Nawaz Sharif could meet, why wouldn’t they do the same?
According to Jayant Patil, he was present at Sharad Pawar’s home with his friend and did not know about their secret meeting.
Rohit Pawar, the grand nephew of Sharad Pawel, stated that he was unaware of the meeting but believed that maintaining communication in a family was not problematic.
The meeting took precedence over the INDIA bloc’s gathering in Mumbai, where Sharad Pawar, a significant opposition figure, had recently addressed PM Modi. He was seen at an event in Solapur on Sunday with Devendra Fadnavis, who was also there.
