Arjun Ram Meghwal, the Minister of State for Law & Justice, will present the Appointment Conditions of Service and Term of Office Bill, 2023, which pertains to the Chief Election Commissioner and other Election Commission officials in the Rajya Sabha today.
The bill was introduced after the Supreme Court’s decision that highlighted the legal vacuum in the selection of Election Commissioners.
