India’s FIH rankings have elevated their country to World No.3 after winning the Asian Champions Trophy.

The fourth time winning ACT, India defeated Malaysia 4-3 at 04:10.

The Asian Champions Trophy victory on Sunday saw India rise to third place in the FIH rankings, giving them a significant advantage ahead of the Asian Games. India’s position was improved as they moved up to second place behind England and Netherlands, who were ranked first at the time. They won the same title in 2021 after winning relegation from Tokyo Olympics where they lost 1-3.
