Salman Toor’s wedding rumours are dismissed by Pakistani singer Ali Sethi.

Following rumours that he and Salman Toor had married, Pakistani singer Ali Sethi has responded to the situation by posting on Instagram on Saturday. Ali clarified that they are not married and later received congratulations from social media after multiple reports claimed otherwise.

Ali Sethi’s latest Instagram post, announcing his unmarried status, rejected the notion of marrying Salman in New York. He wrote: “I am not married and don’t know who started the rumor. Maybe they should help promote my new album: Paniya.” He also shared the link to his latest song.

On Twitter, he received congratulations from people.

Following the rumours, on Friday, someone tweeted about Ali Sethi and Salman Toor’s wedding, saying “If true, congratulations and good luck.” A person later added: “It’ll be great to see you live this way, man!” Another tweeter added; “What a wonderful life! Thank you so much!”

He has performed a range of covers and original songs, including Aaqa, Ranjish Hi Sahi, Chan Kithan, Gulon Main Rang, and Chandni Raat. His most recent single for Coke Studio–Pasoori was the first Pakistani song to be listed on Spotify’s Viral 50 – Global chart.

Ali was mentioned by Salman in his speech.

Salman spoke to The New Yorker last year about Ali Sethi. It was reported that the two found themselves in a sense together merely years ago.

The New Yorker reported in 2022 that Salman had found the person he wanted to be with permanently. He also shared his experience when addressing his parents about his homosexuality at the age of 15 after they dismissed his claims and said ‘you don’t know you’.
