Billy Porter is revealing why Harry Styles’ Vogue cover hasn’t caught his attention.
The Pose star expressed his dissatisfaction with Anna Wintour, who made him the first Vogue coverper. He revealed to The Telegraph that he had a Q&A session with Wintabehr and members of the Condé Nast staff before the magazine’s release.
According to Porter, the bitch had a conversation with him at the end and he was surprised by his actions.
The winner of the Kinky Boots Tony contest stated that Styles is not the problem.
Porter stated that Harry Styles was not at fault for his whiteness, cuteness and straightness while fitting into the infrastructure. He also criticized the gatekeepers.
He stated that the fact that Styles is white and straight makes him a cover star, but it doesn’t make him feel good.
The Cinderella star has previously spoken out against the Vogue cover. In an interview with The Sunday Times in October 2021, he expressed his belief that the fashion industry was willing to accept him once a year due to his creation of non-binary ideas. However, Styles did not receive the same honor.
Porter stated that Harry Styles was the one to represent a new conversation, but it was not his preference. He simply chose this action because it is the right thing to do.
