The passing of Bryan Randall, Sandra Bullock’s longtime partner, has caused shockwaves in Hollywood, but his tragic death is the most recent setback for his daughter, who suffered from drug addiction, abandonment, and loss.
According to The Post, Skylar Staten’s father, who is now a model and photographer, had dealt with the tragic passing of her mother before moving in with Sandra Bullock.
During their residency in Oregon in the early 1990s, Randall and Janine Staten crossed paths and met at rehab.
“They were both drugged heroin users and I remember meeting them when Janine was still pregnant with Skylar,” according to a friend who asked not to be named.
“Bryan had recently left rehab and was facing difficulties. Nevertheless, Skylar was never present following his birth.”
Janine, the mother of Skylar Staten, passed away at the age of 29.
