The Maharashtra political community is abuzz with news that Sharad Pawar, the founder of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), had a “secret meeting” with his nephew Ajit Pawan, who led the party to secede and become part of India’s BJP-Shinde Sena government.
The meeting took place in Atul Chordia’s bungalow in Koregaon Park, Pune, and lasted for an hour. This meeting has caused a wide variety of speculations in state politics. Sharad Pawar’S convoy left Chordivara an additional hour before Ajit Pavar arrived at the location.

Amol Mitkari, the leader of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), stated to PTI that the meeting between the two leaders could be like a family gathering.
Atul Bhatkhalkar, a representative of the BJP, suggested that one should ask Pawars and Patil about the meeting’s events.
In July, Ajit Pawar led a vertical split in the NCP to become the deputy chief minister, which came as ill-advised news to his uncle Sharad Pavar, founder of the organization and former chairman of both houses for 24 years. Eight members of that organisation were also elected as ministers at the swearing-in ceremony held at Raj Bhavan in south Mumbai.
The number of MLAs who are in favor of the Pawar senior and Ajit Pa war veterans out of 54 remains undetermined.
The NCP’s crisis has caused a decline in the alliance between the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) and Shiv Sena in Maharashtra, which was formed after Eknath Shinde took up arms with 40 MLAs and secured the position of Chief Minister with BJP’S support.
