The Government of India’s Har Ghar Tiranga campaign will start today and continue until 15 August, the 77th Independence Day. The campaign is being organised by the Ministry of Culture with the aim of building up patriotism among people and celebrating the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav with an emphasis on collaborative effort and greater emphasis upon ‘janbhagidari’.
Prime Minister Modi urged fellow Indians to join the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga movement’ in X (previously Twitter), tweeting that the Tricolour is a symbol of freedom and national unity. He wrote that everyone should work towards furthering their country’s progress by taking part in the #HarGharTirango movement from August 13th to 15th.
