Trump holds Megan Rapinoe and arousal accountable for the US Women’s World Cup exit.

The CNN correspondent, Sydney, stated that.

After the women’s national team of the US suffered a defeat in the World Cup, former US President Donald Trump took it upon himself to attribute the loss to star player Megan Rapinoe and the country’ “woke” path under President Joe Biden.

The U.S. Women’s Soccer Team’ thrashing of Sweden was a stunning upset that epitomized the terrible precedent set by Joe Biden and his team, as Trump wrote on his social media platform “Truth Social.”

The team’s defeat was met with continued support from conservatives, who suggested that the outcome was influenced by their beliefs and perceived criticism of the US.

Megyn Kelly, a former Fox News host, shared her excitement about the loss, saying “I’m thrilled they lost.” “You don’t support America, I don’t endorse you.”

Kelly did not elaborate on the lack of support for America from the US women’s soccer team, but it is likely that she was referring to Megan Rapinoe’ comments after the team’S World Cup triumph in 2019.

Kelly’s comments were broad, but Trump’ spelled out Rapinoe’ missed penalty in the game on Sunday — though the star hasn’t been the only one to-go in U.S. history to do so and has also had heated discussions with the former president.

Then-president Trump was outraged by Rapinoe’s famous statement that she would not go to the White House if the team won the Women’S World Cup in 2019.

Trump’s series of exclamatory tweets included a message to Rapinoe, who is considered one of the most successful US footballers in history, to prioritize WIN over CONFUSE and not to disrespect her country or flag.

Following Trump’s response, Rapinoe defended her words and attacked the Trump administration as one that does not stand up for what they believe in.

Rapinoe has portrayed herself as a “protester,” and her individual campaigns are likely aligned with what Trump calls “woke.” She is well-known for her activism on social issues, including LGBTQ+ rights, racial inequality, gender equality, and the pay equity system.

Rapinoe was the first white professional athlete to publicly support Colin Kaepernick’s silent protest against police brutality on an international level. She and her WNBA teammate, Sue Bird, were also featured on ESPN the Magazine’S Body Issue as the initial openly gay couple ever.

Rapinoe was presented with the Presidential Medal of Freedom by Biden in 2022, the highest civilian award in the country. The president praised the star soccer player for her efforts in securing equal pay for the US women’s soccer team and her advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights.

President Biden stated that the US Women’s National Soccer Team has been a model for champions for almost 40 years. They have won numerous trophies and are known for their dedication to gender equality, which they continue to do today.

Biden and his wife have consistently championed the Women’s World Cup team and were among the notable figures who helped determine the players for the tournament in June.

The Bidens erected a billboard on the White House North Lawn to show their support for the World Cup team. Following their defeat on Sunday, Jill Biken spoke of the team as an inspiration to all women and girls, in stark contrast to Trump’s response.
